Breastfeeding Medicine Couplet Home Visits

Home visits can be helpful when postpartum recovery limits travel, when feeding setup and environment matter, or when families need support where feeding happens.

Call to Request a Home Visit

How Home Visits Work

Home visits follow the same medically supervised breastfeeding medicine model. Care focuses on evaluating mom and baby together, observing feeding when indicated, and building a coordinated plan.

Geographic Limitations

Home visits are not available throughout Tucson and Southern Arizona. They are offered in select populated areas where travel to our clinic is more challenging and we are able to offer coverage.

Prior to booking a visit, please ensure that your home is in one of our service areas.

What to Expect at Your Visit

Latch evaluations occur as part of a couplet visit designed to care for both mom and baby together, with dedicated, unrushed time focused on your concerns.

Visits typically include history review, focused assessment, and feeding observation, when indicated.

Your care team discusses findings, priorities, and next steps based on evaluation and goals.

When Scheduling, Please Let Us Know

  • Baby’s age and any recent weights
  • Whether feeding is painful or ineffective
  • How feeding is currently happening
  • Any concerns about growth, stamina, or intake
