Barrio Healthcare Visit Scheduling

Established patients can schedule visits through the secure patient portal.

• Barrio Babies: Established families may schedule follow‑up visits for mom and baby.
• Barrio Balance+: Established patients may schedule follow‑up visits directly in the portal.

If you are new to Barrio Healthcare, you can schedule your first visit online.

• Barrio Babies: New visits are scheduled for care of the mom–baby couplet.
• Barrio Balance+: New visits are scheduled for adult functional or hormone‑related care.

When scheduling a Barrio Babies visit, please schedule the appointment under the mother’s name.

In the scheduling notes, include the baby’s full name and date of birth so our team can prepare appropriately.

Once scheduled, our team will add the baby to the couplet visit and link accounts.

Barrio Babies

• Create a patient portal account for mom only.
• Baby information will be collected during self check‑in and at the visit.

Barrio Balance+

• Create a portal account for the adult patient scheduled for care.
• Balance+ visits are self‑pay. Insurance is not billed or submitted for Balance+ services.

Self check‑in is required for all visits. Completing self check‑in in advance helps your appointment start on time and allows our team to prepare appropriately.

If you have questions, need help choosing the right visit type, or would rather schedule by phone, our office team is happy to assist.

If you are hoping for an earlier appointment, options may include:

• Calling to be added to our waitlist and notified if an earlier time becomes available
• Telehealth visits, which may be appropriate for some concerns and can be scheduled through the patient portal or by calling
• Home visits, if offered in your area

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

If your baby has a fever over 100.4 or greater consistently and is under the age of 3 months old, or you have other concerns that can not safely wait for an office visit, your baby needs to be taken to the pediatric emergency room.
